True Blue Decorative Artists Inc

The committee of True Blue Decorative Artists Inc. invite you to join them for their fifth painting Conference to be held at Quality Hotel, Melbourne Airport, which is located 4 kilometres from Melbourne Airport which has a 24 hour courtesy bus transfers available, on 27, 28 and 29 August 2010. It promises to be a great weekend of fun, painting, meeting and making friends.

We are presenting workshops by well-known artists from New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia as well as our own Victorian teachers - aiming to enhance your skills and introduce you to some exciting new designs and techniques.

All meals and workshops will be held at the conference venue and on Friday night after workshops there will be a "Champagne Shopping" with trade tables available to all participants at no charge.

Accommodation remember to use the special code when booking to get the True Blue Discount rate.

Each person is responsible for booking their own accommodation. You are required to provide credit card details to make the booking. If wanting breakfast you MUST mention this when making your booking to get the special Conference rate of $15.00 for breakfast each day, otherwise you will be charged $20.00. Check-in time is 2.00 pm. Early check-in may be available depending on previous night's occupancy. It is suggested you book early to ensure you get the type of accommodation you require.

If planning to book into the Conference Venue accommodation it is necessary that you indicate this on your registration form so the convenors have a record of where people will be staying should it be necessary to contact them outside of workshop hours.

Shuttle bus is a 24 hour courtesy service, it cannot be booked in advance. On arrival at the airport collect your luggage then phone the free call number 1800 338 322. The bus will then be dispatched for pick up. Remember to allow plenty of time when planning to use the shuttle bus as it services the whole hotel not just our Conference. Check at the reception desk on arrival for more information this service.

As this conference theme is "Baubles Bangles and Beads" costumes depicting our theme will be awarded prizes for those judged first, second and third, so bring along your "Glitz and Bling"and get ready for some dancing. This function will be held in the Bella Vista Reception room (as will all meals over the weekend).

The costs listed below include hire of function centre and all meals as stated, Champagne Shopping refreshments and Saturday night entertainment, plus administration costs.

Breakfast arrangements are up to each member attending to organise through the hotel when booking in or you can provide your own. To endeavour to keep costs to a minimum we are providing hot meals on Friday and Saturday nights only. Lunches with be platters of sandwiches/rolls and fresh fruit drink, tea and coffee.
