Jamie Mills Price visit to Australia
During October 2008, True Blue brought Jamie and Flo to Australia for what can only be described as a fantastic 6 days of workshops. Jamie is a very generous teacher and a delight to paint with. Lots of different techniques were learnt as well as a chance to brush up on your flat brush work.
Thankyou to Karen B and her family for opening their hearts and home to Jamie and Flo while they were here. Karen took them sight-seeing to Echuca, Phillip Island, Healesville Sanctuary and beaches on the peninsula on the days Jamie wasn't teaching, and by all accounts they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Harry also gave them a treat serving "Prawns on the Barby".You can gauge how much they enjoyed themselves by going to "Flo's Blog" on Jamie's website where she has downloaded some photos of their time here and posted commentary to go with them.
This was our first attempt to bring an international artist to teach seminars for True Blue and everything went according to plan. We always try to keep all of our workshops as reasonably priced as we can for our members and we also did this with Jamie.
