Results of the 2011 AGM At the 2011 Annual General Meeting True Blue Decorative Artists has decided to take a new direction. new projects, new challenges and we hope, new friends. At the meeting it was announced that the main positions of the committee were being vacated and Karin Parson and Karen Brouwer were not standing for these positions after 7 years. Thank you Karin and Karen for all your hard work and your vision for True Blue from the beginning. There have been several meetings of the Executive committee regarding the running of True Blue in its current format and after careful consideration it has been decided that it is not viable to keep running workshops on a regular monthly basis. We will instead be running 2-3 full weekend workshops during the year with guest teachers as well as our annual Christmas workshop and lunch. The main interest over the last two years has been with the exhibiiting of painings at the International Flower and Garden Show, which has been made relatively easy for the members to sell and exhibit their artwork. True Blue is grateful for all the support shown by it's members and will continue to provide a support and encouragement for our members through our aforementioned activities. In the near future we will also be providing a space on our website for our members to sell their artwork to the greater community and will be looking into other ways our members can stay in touch regularly online.
